Sinopec Tulux T500 20W-40 Classic Diesel Engine Oil is an LMOA "Generation 5" lubricant engineered for railroad applications, formulated with high-grade mineral base stocks and a sophisticated multifunctional additive package. This formulation is explicitly zinc-free, making it highly suitable for use in diesel engines incorporating silver bearings or other silver components, where zinc-based additives could cause galvanic corrosion. The oil is meticulously designed to meet or exceed the performance requirements set by major railroad diesel engine manufacturers, ensuring optimal protection against wear, deposits, and oxidation under severe service conditions typical of rail operations.
